Georgina is makeup artist and body painter with a passion in utilising traditional painting and drawing techniques upon a 3D canvas. Her work is highly regarded for her attention to detail, colour palette choices and intricary in application. She branched into makeup and special effects design in 2014, when she completed a Diploma of Cinemagraphic Makeup at the Australian Academy of Cinemagraphic Makeup. Whilst there, she studied under Emmy award winning prosthetics artist, Chad Atkinson and seasoned film professional, Paige Badenoch and also obtained a certification in contact lens fitting and removal. She completed an Advanced Prosthetics workshop at AACM and studied the Short Shop Foam Latex Workshop under Chad Atkinson.
Georgina has been focusing on working in film and television as of late and her credits include Nine Perfect Strangers (assisting Noriko Watanabe and Nikki Gooley), Swimming For Gold and The Brighton Miracle. She was chosen as Makeup Designer for her first feature film, Loveland - directed by Ivan Sen and due for release in 2021.
Georgina competed in the IMATS Sydney 2014 Battle of the Brushes and was awarded second place for her piece in the Beauty/Fantasy Category. She placed in the Top 6 for the NYX Professional Makeup FACE Awards Australia 2018 and won the Makeup Weapons "Weapons of Mass Creation Competition" in 2017. Her work has been published in Laud Magazine, Shuba Magazine, Rocketlight Magazine, Hub Magazine, Cole Magazine, Make Up Artist Magazine and has been featured in Huffington Post, Daily Mail, Allure, Buzzfeed, Yahoo, PopSugar, Mashable, Entertainment Weekly, Cosmpolitan and on the official Instagram page. She has worked recurrantly with the Queensland Ballet since 2018.
